About Vegas Trio

Marc aka Nahtass: Vibraphone, synthesizers, organ, and electronics.
The sound may be reminiscent of Radiohead or Beck. In truth Marc’s style comes from the same sources these great bands use. Synths, electronics, studio teaching, programming, and a lust to push technology. Over time Marc has become an explorer of these possibilities. The mind of a re-mixer trapped in a live musician provides frustrations as well as amazing music victories. The balance of dueling ideas working together inside the project is the fuel for new ideas, avenues, and experiments.

Nick Q: Drums and percussion.
Somewhere there is a spiritual center between the rhythmic styles of Victor Wooten, drummers like Dennis Chambers and Billy Cobham, and the pure inspirational electricity of Spiderman. It is at this particular crossroads that Nick exacts his equilibrium in drumming. Finding music stands alos useful for holding comic books provides the distraction that relieves Nick. Connoisseurs of hip hop might call him a hack. Jazz critics see him as often playing incurably dishonest jazz. From some rigid point of view there is some truth.
